Someone close to me lost years to a person who knew exactly what they were doing.
They couldn't see it. Nobody could.
By the time the pattern had a name, the damage was done.
That's when it hit me. Most of us were never taught the warning signs. We just learned them the hard way. Usually after it already cost us something we can't get back.
The Adult Club is the version of that lesson I wish someone had handed me first.
I'm not a therapist. I'm not a guru. I'm someone who got tired of watching good people get used by people who knew exactly what they were doing. So I started writing what I wish I'd known. It turned into this.
"I read one newsletter and felt seen for the first time in years."
"Finally someone who tells the truth without dressing it up."
"This was actually more accurate than I expected."
